| Our
immediate goal is not to win the Kentucky Derby (although that would be
very nice). Our goal is to be competitive in the Oklahoma-Texas racing
circuit. We run our horses at Sam Houston in Houston, Lone Star Park in
Grand Prairie, Will Rogers in Claremore, Fair Meadows in Tulsa, and
Remington Park in Oklahoma City. |
The other
goal we have is to introduce people of moderate means (like us) to
the fun and excitement of owning and racing horses at a very reasonable
cost. Our partnerships run between $2,500 to $10,000, which will
include the total cost of a 5% ownership in your horse or horses. There
are no monthly expenses for training, veterinarians, farriers, farm
help. However, there is a charge of 5% of track earnings, if the horse
does not earn any money at the track, there will be no charge at all.
|
If you
invest in one of our partnerships and can honestly tell me you did not
have fun, High Hopes will give you all of your investment back.
