Unless he’s
at work or at the track, you can bet Ron is researching bloodlines or
studying the racing form for his next claim. A 20-year veteran of
the industry, Ron’s enthusiasm for the sport may be contagious.
In the 2005 Remington Park standings, Ron tied for the Eighth Leading
Owner with three others. He had five wins. If the two wins of
the Joy Of The Dance Partnership were included, he would have been tied
for Fourth with seven wins.
Ron was re-elected to the Oklahoma Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective
Association Board of Directors for a second term, which will end in
2011 . The OHBPA is an
affilliate of the National HBPA, which has a tradition of helping
horsemen since 1940.
