Claremore,
Oklahoma and Will Rogers Downs was the scene for Linda’s Rebel’s first
trip to the winner’s circle after an incredible 13 1/4 length victory
on May 7, 2006. The maiden breaker came in a 1 & 1/16 miles
event on a muddy track when the filly chased the pacesetters from the
outside then pulled away when heading for home. Linda’s Rebel
earned $9,000 for the tally.
 
Linda’s
Rebel recovered after a stumble at the start to finish second in a six
furlong maiden claimer at Will Rogers Downs. Her April 22, 2006
effort was worth a check for $2,200. High Hopes stable mate Spectacular
Beamer capped off the day nicely with a win in the very next race
at Will Rogers.
